Question: When affiliate marketing should i always make my site end in .com?

Or can i use .tk or .wordpress.com ect? will this affect ranking?

Your site is going to be more well respected and considered more legitimate if it ends in .com. Wordpress.com prohibits affiliate marketing in their TOS.

This is a long term business so you want to own the real estate by having your own domain name, instead of parking it with wordpress.com. To capture the international market especially when majority of the buyers are from USA, it is a good idea to have a dot com domain.
